Account Manager

 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • Ensure that your assigned properties quality meet our client and Sun State standards

  • Inspect properties prior to scheduled service in order to properly prepare a specific action plans for service

  • Monitor irrigation systems, identify problems or necessary repairs, and communicate recommendations to the appropriate party

  • As necessary, perform hands-on work with crews to meet work and scheduling demands

  • Implement and enforce Sun State policies and procedures

  • Work with Sun State leadership to identify staffing needs, hire new crew members, and prepare daily crew schedules

  • Ensure proper paperwork is completed for all employee changes and hires

  • Communicate with, counsel, train, discipline, review, and develop growth plans for employees

  • Hands-on training and support of crew members, including proper operation of equipment, pruning techniques, safety, and quality standards

  • Focus on safety and monitor safety records

  • Maintain and manage all required paperwork

  • Coordinate with Sun State leadership and office staff to ensure client information is current

  • Work closely with office staff to generate daily invoices and customer correspondence as needed

  • Order materials as needed and monitor costs and deliveries

  • Request purchase orders and use in accordance with Sun State policies and procedures

  • Conduct and record detailed inspections and plan/execute upgrades of client systems

 

MUST-HAVES

  • Valid AZ drivers license

  • Minimum 2 years of professional landscaping experience

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience

  • Ability to train and develop teams

  • Bilingual English/Spanish and ability to create and read site maps, colored charts/legends

  • Good knowledge of all types of timers, irrigation equipment, multi-meters, wire locators, and pipe sizing

  • Good knowledge of laws, license scope, and permits relating to irrigation and landscaping

  • Ability to use a computer, send emails, create and edit spreadsheets, and correspond professionally

 

IT HELPS TO HAVE

  • 2 or 4 year degree in a landscape-related field or certification by a landscape association

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Lift and carry up to 80 lbs

  • Safely operate various equipment and vehicles including trucks with trailers

  • Work hours may exceed 12 hours per day

  • Work in extreme heat

  • Noise level may be loud at times and use of ear plugs may be required

DETAILS
